Laser Cutting | Ramen Wooden Tags
To gain more experience and to experiment with more mediums, I decided to create my first laser-cut pieces. I wanted to experiment with different art styles, and I thought it will be fun to show different styles through a ramen bowl. Also, food is a huge part of our visual culture. I wanted to combine different artistic styles by depicting food to create a good harmony.
Final Result
After several trials and test runs, I was finally able to create my wooden tags. During this process, not only did I had to become familiar with the laser cutter, but I also had to obtain woodwork skills. I think there remains room for me to improve, but the experience of bringing a concept to life while incorporating new skills was a very valuable experience.
